Chris joined INNOVA in July 2005 as commercialization manager. He advises seed and early-stage companies as well as WVHTC Foundation programs through the commercialization process.

Prior to joining INNOVA, Chris held the position of a commercial lender within the West Virginia region of a national banking institution. While there, he also fulfilled the duties of a commercial portfolio manager and a credit analyst. Chris received his master's degree in business administration from West Virginia University and holds a bachelor's degree in business administration with majors in finance and management from Fairmont State University. He is a member of the Marion County Development Authority and director and treasurer of the West Virginia Chapter of Risk Management Associates.
