Greg was named director of INNOVA in October 2004, and heads the INNOVA Commercialization Group. Greg joined INNOVA in 2002 as commercialization manager. As the director of INNOVA, Greg is responsible for overseeing all aspects of providing commercialization services and assistance to INNOVA companies and entrepreneurs. In addition, he evaluates INNOVA companies for seed and early-stage investment potential.

Prior to joining INNOVA, Greg led the commercial marketing efforts for Nortel Networks' Carrier Voice Over IP product line. In addition, he held product marketing, customer service, manufacturing and international wireless operations positions while at Nortel. Before receiving his master's degree from the University of North Carolina's Kenan-Flager Business School, Greg worked for Deloitte & Touche LLP where he focused on North American and European manufacturing companies. Greg holds a bachelor's degree in business administration from West Virginia University.
